Left: To the left of the railings was the Taff River. Warehouse in the distance was property of Fyffes Bananas. It is now demolished.
Centre: Beyond the tanker lorry was a slip road onto the A470 dual carriageway. By the 21st century the had blocked it off. A little higher up and in the far distance can be seen the white building of the Round Houses associated with William Price. Glyntaff Church can be seen behind the bridge that crosses the roundabount.
